Levuka is a small but very nice and pleasant town situated on the Island of Ovalau. Levuka is considered to be one of the most beautiful towns in Fiji. Earlier, in XVIII century Levuka was the capital of Fiji, but by the end of XIX century it had too many buildings, and, being surrounded by the sea and mountains, it could no more expand. In 1882 Levuka lost its title of Fiji capital and became one of the most visited resort.
